Exploring Artemyra

Kyros had finally traveled to the City of Sky with Guila it had taken some time but they had made it. He dropped the bag on his shoulders "Heavy stuff" He said as he sat it down. The people there seem different they were all mostly females and pretty ones at that.

"Hey stop drooling over them" Guila put her bag down next to the other one and looked a little mad at Kyros as he looked at all the ladies around them

Kyros turned his head over to Guila rubbing it for a moment and laughed. "Sorry about that shall we go?" He asked her kindly.

Guila nodded with a little smile she picked both the bags up and smiled slightly more since the Dungeon and after her wounds had healed a little she felt much stronger than before "So why would you want to go up here of all places? Artemyra is very isolated from the rest of the world I'm surprised we came into the city without too much trouble"

"I wanted to see it for myself and because I like beautiful women." Kyros said in a joking way he looked around at all of the women. Still drooling a little bit but mostly he was looking at their animals. He wanted one and he had the money to buy such a thing now.

The sound of the ground cracking sounded loud just behind Kyros right from where Guila stood her toes had drilled into the ground making it crack of pure force and Guila smiled almost scary sweet to Kyros "Then it is nice there are so many beautiful women all over the place is that not right Kyros "

"Very" He turned to Guila looking in her eyes. "But you are the most beautiful of them all." Kyros touched her cheek softly rubbing her face so. "I have never met a woman so strong or beautiful as you" He let go her face while looking at the ground. "Scary strong" Kyros couldn't help but laugh.

Guila smile return to normal when Kyros said the sweet words "You are forgiven for now" Guila looked down at the ground and the cracks she had made and blushed a little over what she had done "So what is the real reason we are here? I doubt the Queen want to talk to a king who has only two people under him"

"I came looking for a bird that will help us get to where we need to go a pet almost." Kyros turned to Guila thats why he was looking at all of those birds. He needed one that fit him and a strong one no less. "Do you like animals?"

Guila shook her head with a smile "You forget what I am" Guila held her hand out to a dog that passed by and it immediately turned it around and sat down in front of Guila while it was wagging its tail "Most Fanalis are very fond of animals and they of us, perhaps because we also have animal like instincts" Guila patted the dog on its head and looked up at Kyros

"I can never forget what you are its really hard to do that." Kyros said bending down and looking at the animal smiling at it himself and patting the head of the dog too. "What are you fond of beside animals?"

Guila held out a little in her hair "The red hair reveals me just a bit" Guila smiled and looked up "The sky as you saw in my memories I could not see the sky for a long time and recently..." Guila looked at Kyros briefly before she blushed and looked back at the dog who were just glad more was patting its head "Forget the last" She could not bring himself to say more not right now at least

Kyros looked at her for awhile he seem to just smile at her. Guila she was almost innocent the way she was kind and sweet but yet so strong. He touched her cheek for awhile before saying "Lets go find us a bird"

Guila nodded and got up taking the two bags again "Kyros I don't see anywhere that looks like they sell the birds" Now she looked around there were not many shops and what shops there was looked very standard for a city not much to catch a traveler eye so they would buy something. Guila looked back at Kyros hoping he could see something she could not

Kyros didn't see one either he could always ask somebody but he didn't know much about the women of this country so he couldn't ask. "Lets just keep walking and try to find out or you can stay here I'll look around if you want will that make it easier?"

"I think it's a bad idea not being together we do not really know how people are here and with so many treasures it would not be strange if someone tried to take it from us" Guila looked at how all gave them odd looks and now that Guila looked a little more she could not see a single man which gave her the creeps "Yea lets just keep walking this place is a little too weird for me"

"Don't worry I won't let anything happen to you." Kyros thought about that last part she could probably take care of herself when he thought about it. "Lets go into this shop and have a look." He pointed to a near by shop on the left.

Guila could help but smile when Kyros said would take care of her "Sounds good" Guila walked with Kyros into the shop and was greeted by countless odors and a shop which was cover with a thin layer of smoke "Welcome to my store" An old lady sat behind a disc and smoking a long pipe "I have everything from medical herbs to incense and some poisons if that is what you are looking for" Guila looked back at Kyros she was not sure how to ask for the birds they were after

"I'm looking for some of Artemyra famous birds I would like to buy one" Kyros simply said he was hoping the old lady would be able to help him locate one or he could buy one at the least.

Guila was now looking at all the different herbs to see if any of them might be able to help them if they were to get hurt again

The old lady looked at Kyros with sharp eyes for such an old lady she looked at him for a while before she finally said something "The birds from this country is more valuable than anything else to us and therefore we look after them and protect them as if they were family" The old lady pointed at Kyros with her pipe "Why should we leave a member of our family in the hands of a random traveler and his slave?"

Kyros took offense to the old lady words and held out his hand to Guila. "This is Guila she is not my slave but my soon to be wife. I would be prefer if you do not address her as slave she is far from a slave. To answer your other question." Kyros took out some of the gold well about half of one beg. "I will take great care of a member of your family and treat it like it was my own child. With this gold I'm only making a peace offering for a proud member of your family.'

Guila stood paralyzed by Kyros words while her lips formed the words wife over and over

The old lady nodded and smiled somewhat to Kyros "Good answer kid although I think you have shocked the young girl" The old lady pointed at Guila with her pipe who still stood completely quiet "I don't need your gold kid save it for when you negotiate for your bird" The old lady put a piece of paper with a signature on it on the disk for Kyros to take "Give that to one of the bird breeders then they will let you buy from them they live close to the edge of the cliff from the road you entered the city"

Kyros wrote his signature on the piece of paper and still he gave some of the gold to the lady. "Thank you so much for your help." He said as he took the piece of paper and open the door for Guila. "Come on lets go."

Guila jumped almost in shock when Kyros talked to her "Yes I am coming" Guila walked right after Kyros blushing a bit

Kyros smiled at Guila and wrapped his arm around her "Why are you blushing you should be happy."
